Hi all ,

Recently I have purchased this (image attached) this Chinse COB LEDs from market , to use it as dome light in my car. It came with no specification. On the top side of it , says 2.5w and 12v .
When I fit it in my car it work fine unless when I turn my indicators or other load on , it blinks with them . probably cause of voltage spike.

So please suggest me what value capacitor or any other component I should use to prevent it .

Thanks in advance for reading and answering my question :))

Have a good day.

Hello,

How is the cooling of the COB arranged?
It has two mounting holes to attach it to a heatsink.
When it becomes to hot, irregular behaviour may occour.

Hello !

On the back of cob is of allumium heat sink , covered by thin layer of plastic. I tried glowing it for 30mins while driving and it wasn't so hot .
So I guess it won't cause any heating issue
