10 kHz to 11 kHz CW tone

Hello,

Is there a way that I can convert a selective, 10kHz - 11kHz, audio tone to output a 1kHz tone? I'm thinking that I would need a microphone and I would plug it into a mixer or a circuit. Then that circuit would engage a warbling tone (1kHz tone) when the selective, 10kHz-11kHz, tone is inputted to the circuit. Any ideas? I appreciate any help or input. Thanks

Not necessarily, 0-1kHz. Whatever circuit is easier to fabricate. I need the output to be an audible tone for me. I choose 1kHz because that's fairly common for any speaker. Anything lower than that would require a subwoofer and I am not interested in the lower frequencies. (Of course they sound nice in an auditorium or in tightly designed car) Anyway, thanks

Is the input frequency constant or varying? There is a component that may be useful to convert an input frequency to a voltage.

The output voltage could then be used to initiate the target frequency.

Thanks for the quick input. The frequency to voltage converter could be used to initiate the target output frequency (1Khz) as you said. Therefore, would I have to create a bandpass filter from 14kHz to 16kHz for my input frequencies. Input the frequency to voltage converter. Then input a switching system to engage the target frequency (a warbler could do.) Is that possible?

@drc_567 I looked at the schematics at the frequency in for that component is only available from 0 to 10kHz which outside my scope. Thanks for your input. But definitely, I will need to input 14kHz - 16kHz. Awesome sauce

Sure, but can be more especific?

Here is approach that take sine in and recreates sine out. See attached.

This approach works better, in terms of distortion, for larger N (wavetable
samples). If you want less distortion then use PSOC internals as Freq cntr, and
control the clock to WaveDac that way. Equally easy to implement.

All onchip. As you can see leaves most of the resources unused, see window
to right.

How exact do you need the regeneration in freq ?

What resolution do you want for incremental change ?

I am needing 15kHz - 16kHz audio tone to be converted into a tone warbler or 1kHz tone.

I was thinking a microphone receives the 15kHz-16kHz tone and that inputted into a bandpass filter for only 15-16kHz can pass through. Then that signal creates a voltage and I can send that voltage to a tone warbler or into a 1kHz tone.

So you only want to detect the presence of the 15 to 16Khz tone and produce an audible alert?
Really, a full explanation or what you are trying to do for a start helps a real lot .

The freq of the 1 Khz tracks continuously the 16 Khz, only divided by 16 ?

4) As asked by dendad is the 16 Khz tone basically to control the release
of the 1 Khz tone or is there to be a 1:1 relationship/translation of the 16
Khz tone and its freq variance to the 1 Khz tone with same scaled freq
variance ? Like two singers side be side singing same song one register
apart ?

No. It is simply as I stated.
That's the problem esonwe.
You are actually a bit vague in your description. It could be you just need an indication if a tone in the range you are talking about is present, or it could be you want to frequency shift it. But you still have not explained what the input signal is. That does determine the answer.
What is the input signal?
Do you just want an indication of it being there?
Do you need any modulation components retained?
If so, what is the modulation?
