I'm making a trailing edge dimmer with MOSFET having a capacity of driving a 1.5 kW /5A load. While searching for a circuit diagram in web I got one and here I attach the same. Anybody can help me to complete this project successfully.

 

The terms of service here prohibit discussion of projects using transformer-less power supplies, and I'm afraid that applies to this project.

The combination of beginner skill level and mains power is simply too dangerous.

 

You cant put fets on a mains supply, you need to use a Triac.

Ideally use a transformer,
