Hi, yes so I see from the feedback so far. I was hoping to avoid using regulators, ic's etc. The feature I liked the most was the red/green (ok - overload indicators) led and the reset switch. Will continue my search. Many thanks.

You can still have red/green led features with overload protection with a regulator and op amp, much more control and regulated better.
