MP3 Portable Mini-Amp Project

Here are some photos of my completed MP3 portable mini-amp. The box is approximately 5.375" x 4.25" x 4". The actual amplifier is a class D assembly I ordered on ebay from China; I removed the input jack, removed the power jack, installed the power terminal block, and changed the LED.

It is quite loud, and clear. Of course there is very little bass, but I use it mostly for listening to podcasts, so that's not a problem.


ETA: The hardest part was smoking all those cigars to empty the box.

A low power amplifier feeding tiny no-bass speakers might be fine to hear ladies' or little kids' voices.

I am an old geezer at 67 years old. I don't squeak yet.
Maybe in 10 or 20 years.

I like speakers that produce deep bass, clear midrange and sizzling highs from music and speech.
