I have recently aquired a used traffic signal, and am wanting to wire it to where each individual light turns on and off in succession. I understand that I need to use a timed relay in order to achieve this goal, but after searching the web, I have become overwhelmed with too much technical info. I will be running the signal off of 120V ac. Is there anyone out there that can suggest what exact parts (less expensive the better) I need and how I need to wire this in to achieve "revolving" lights. I already have the light wired and running with all three colors burning at once. Thanks for your thoughts and imput.

You can use some relais in stead of the lamps (don't forget the back emf diodes).
