hello all i have just started a dc curcuits class and having trouble with finding a missing resistor value if someone could give me a formula i would be forever grateful thank you for your time sorry i should have added that this is for a parallel circuit

More specifically refer to Volume 1 Chapter 5: Series and Parallel Circuits.

For a parallel resistor network:

1/Rtot = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 + ........ 1/Rn

Where n is the number of resistors in the parallel network.
