Hi all, I ordered the solid state tesla coil from Information Unlimited. It states that it takes 12V at 5-7A, preferably from a heavy duty battery. The description says I can use household current but the technician said it would be bad... Can I build a power supply that takes household current and will power this? Or maybe a wall adapter would be easier instead of constructing one? Schematics would be great - and here is the product I am referring to:

Is there any reason why you don't want to use the power supply that is available from the website that is specifically intended to power this device? I think the part number is 12DC/7
