Hey AAC,

I'm a 4th year EE student tasked with making an audio-modulated tesla coil for my final design project (Using the plasma as a speaker). While trying to figure out how to do this, i stumbled across this forum and thought i'd stop in and see what i could learn from active builders/hobbyists.

There's a wealth of information about tesla coil construction out there but I'm limited to an output power draw of 10W and can't find useful information for anything close to that small.

If someone could give me a push in the right direction (links/advice/do's/dont's), it would be greatly appreciated.

Weren't you going to update us? I am also building one of these myself and I am a first year EE student.

Did you use multisim at all to build your circuit? I could really use a TL494.

Toss us your schematics please, I'm interested in what you did.
