This is the one I was looking to get Mainly to get myself back into Oscilloscopes use it to look at PWM wave forms the usual.

I would be unhappy with the 9 bit resolution - that's only 1 part in 512. No problem for PWM waveforms, but might be coarse for analog waveforms.

oooo Ok well this is probably not feasible But might I be able to get something to do what I need for about that price?

Have you considered one of the very inexpensive Velleman scopes, if all you are doing is PWM for motors and the like (i.e., < 1 MHz)? That's what I got and it worked fine for that purpose as well as for reading and setting keys codes etc. I suspect they are available used for less than $50 or so for the 5 MHz version.

They are also portable and can be used for trouble shooting automotive and field issues.
