series-parallel circuit help?

i am doing a series-parallel circuit for homework and i am trying to see if i done something wrong? i believe i have because i already get 12v when i add up v1 and the A node. can someone help me? sorry for my handwriting :|

12 as the VS R1 is 2k ohms R2 is 1k ohms and the series R 3 + 4 that are combined are 4k ohms


r1 + r2 ( r3||r4) he said to find the volt and current across the resistors and it already equals 12vs if i add the I1 and node A

Combine R2 and R34 in parallel and use the voltage divider rule to find the voltage across them. Then divide this voltage by the resistance of each one to find the corresponding currents.
