Pottery Kiln temperature control using MAX31856EVSYS Evaluation System

A pottery kiln needs to achieve temperatures up to the range of a K type thermocouple 2460 Degrees F.
The MAX31856EVSYS provides the control interface for monitoring the temperature. Initially a PC USB to USB2PMB will provide the SPI interface to the MAX31856. The FT2232HL is used on the USB2PMB part of the kit to implement the SPI part of the PMOD interface. The FT2232HL has other digital outputs that will be used to drive the TRIAC switch for AC power of the electric dryer heating element for the Kiln.
