Entertainment has been the past time of many people amidst the ongoing pandemic because of several lockdowns. Most people tune in with their television to watch movies from different streaming service providers such as Youtube and Netflix. Amidst lockdown, many of us have shifted to go online with several cinemas closed and many movies moving to online streaming. This project is about automating a Home Theater using the Microchip Technology SAM-IoT WG Development board.
The idea is to create an application that will get/transfer data from the cloud. This application contains different pre-setup configurations for different types of movie genres or user-preferred setups. The configurations contain light and temperature setups as well as the seat's setup. The lighting setup contains the configuration of Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and White light setup with selections lights OFF, LOW. MID and HIGH contrast. The temperature ranges from 15 to 25 degree Celsius. The following pre-configured setups were added into the application with their corresponding light and temperature values.
