Hello, to solve problems using zener diodes i am required to use the diode's characteristic graph. What equation can i use to get this graph from information given such as voltages, currents, resistor, etc? This is needed to then find the intersect of this graph and the load-line to get the operating point of the diode.

Hope anyone can help me,
Thanks!!

What information do you have about the Zener diode's operating characteristics?

More to the point, please post your efforts, whatever they may be, at working the problem to give us something to build on.

None really, just wondering if there is a formula as in for normal diodes

Id = Is[e^(Vd/nVt)-1] but for zener diodes to be able to build the graph if it's not given (in the examples i have it's given).

what i also know about this formula is:

nVt = aprox 0.026V
and the "-1" may be omitted since the exponential part is much larger.
