YouTube videos

I'd be happy to implement the [youtube] tag, it's easily done on my end. My concern however, and the reason I did not do it in the past, was that folks browsing from work have no way of avoiding YouTube popping up into their browser. I know some places are quite relaxed about this, others however, are not.

If the general consensus here is to allow YT embedding, I'm happy to do so.

I think the forum is good the way it is really, and the whole video thing is just a matter of clicking on a link to view it directly on youtube.... I don't think we need to embed the actual video since this could also slow loading time for those who have limited bandwidth or possibly an older system....

yes ..it would definitely slow down... every time it is refreshed the video will load.
That is not good for me, as I am charged per byte :(
