I have six cats, and my two or three previous laptops were prone to overheating. After taking them apart to see what was wrong, I found huge clumps of fur in the CPU fan. I've since learned to keep my laptops away from my cats, and I haven't had a problem since

Then again, the laptop I'm using right now is brand new--just got it a few months ago. I'll just have to see if I can keep my cats away from it

 

In addition to cat proofing the PC(s), you could spend some time brushing the cat(s). They usually like it.

Once wifey woke up said that the room smells like a cat...... ..!

I had to dust or rather "whisker" the whole thing for a long time to get rid of those ....those...I dunno, what do you call 'em..they are like lint molded in dust kinda thing.

Now everything's fine.....but the good news is that the board VRM is fried. .

Sometimes, I use the vacuum cleaner... I find that it is a device that easily removes fur and other loose particles...

 

You think u can vacuum every day inside the PC.
If you can then you should have lots of 'em.

I never had asthma before but last night I think I had it.

Cat's furs are indeed dangerous. For humans and to machines too.

there are furs that u cannot vacuum. Like between the processor sink and fan.
