What percentage you say that this NAND likely broken and need replacement? seems it is melted from the outside at least.

I got a 5 xboxes lot, and was trying to fix one of them.
I noticed on this board the NAND chip has some kind of "wrinkle", melted perhaps? have you ever seen this kind of problem? could such IC still work with such visible defect?
the xbox now shows the opening screen, but immediately goes either e71 error or totally shut down. I didn't test well though, I haven't put thermal paste under heat sinks, or fastened them with screws so it might be overheating quickly and it makes the system shutdown.
