I am trying to revive a dehumidifier with a bad fan motor. The old motor has a 3 wire connection while the one I want to use has 5 wires(black, white, blue, yellow[low],red[high]. Not sure how to make the change. Can anyone tell me how this motor should be hooked up?

Maxheadroom; Thanks for the attachment. It is a two speed motor and it must need something else to run it. It works fine plugged into the old units control board. Seems like if I move the motor over to new dehumidifier, I need to also use part the the old control board. Any thoughts?

Apply power briefly to Black and red, it should run as a split phase motor, your original one appears to be shaded pole motor.
