I once went to a local meeting of AAAS. They had talks by a couple of igNoble winners.
One was a winner for flatulence absorbing underwear. The winners wife was a great sport that modeled the underwear by holding in front and in back of her while he talked. This was a real invention and now-a-days you can actually buy them on the Internet. :cool:

The other talk was by a young lady about here research debunking touch therapy. She was so interesting that they "forgot" to ring the bell at the end of her allotted time. :)
