    Hi everyone,

    SERVICE CURRENTLY OPEN
    Silkscreens now partly available
    --------------------------------
    SOLDERMASKS NEARLY THERE
    --------------------------------

    SOLDERMASK OFFER
For boards under 4" X 3" I can put on a solder mask. This would only cost an extra £1 but there is no guarantee that it would work as its still in dev stage. If it does not work then you will be refunded the £1 and you would still get a board! So act now for a potentially cheap PCB with solder mask!!!

During the easter holidays I can make people really cheap PCB boards for next to nothing. There is no through hole plating but these boards are perfect for proto-typing a design or just a standard low cost alternative. Im only able to do this for the next 3 weeks at most so hurry before this great service comes to an end for 8 weeks (after that it will resume).

Here is a guideline for prices (But these are not set in stone)
    Single Sided Board SRBP (Max size 150mm x 95mm) - Between £2 and £5
    Single Sided Board FR4 (Max size 150mm x 95mm) - Between £4 and £8
    Double Sided Board FR4 (Max size 150mm x 95mm) - Between £4 and £12
Drilling - Initial 200 holes free, every 100 holes is £2 extra
Solder mask - £2 (Depends on board size)
Silkscreen - £2 (Depends on board size)
Tin Plating (Available soon and only with soldermasks) - £2 (Depends on number of pads)
    Via Soldering - £5 for first 100 vias, 50p per 50 holes

You can cascade the design to fit multiple PCB's per board, no extra cost ;D

Made using the toner transfer method.
P&P is very cheap depending on location (i am international shipping so dont worry)
Should not take long to post too :D

    The minimum clearance is 10mil

Send your board details (dimensions etc) to mitchelectronics@hotmail.co.uk and i will send you a quote :)
Or you can also search for my website by simply looking up MitchElectronics on Google! (yes we are on there!)

    Examples:
This is an example of solder masks on fine pitched pads

This image is the second solder mask experiment which worked for 100% of the pads

Ah! I never saw it in any case. If someone wants to deal PM is the way to go. Then you share email address, and leave the rest of the world guessing.

I would like to apologise to those who have request boards....in may....now july. I have been away for a while but now back on track. I have been very forgetfull and again, very sorry for my rude absence.

    Updates:
Double sided boards can easily be done
Please keep clerances large (>10 mil) because it gets very difficult to stop track bleeding.

    OK cool.

If I send you XX dollar with paypal for 8x8 CM PCB, double layer, TQFP44 is used, how long will it take?

Can you accept Eagle files? Can you show some example pictures?

To see an image example (please note its an old example, boards are of better quality now) look at my blog post PCB Examples

lol, i have made better pcbs with my hand. but its better to buy from someone than trying to make it by yourself because they give a lot of frustration, specially the drilling part.

btw, which solution you use for etching?

That was part of our summer training and we've submitted it after making our project. But wait, I'll soon make another one and show you the pic.

i didn't say that your boards are bad. i said to make a nice board is a frustrating work and so they should buy from you. you took it the wrong way or maybe its because of my poor language capabilities.

What are the lead times like? Can you ship to Australia or Taiwan?

Yes I can but it cost more for international shipping. Lead times, depends on the board. More holes, longer to make. If you sent me a design today, the board would be etched and processed by the end of the day, drilling should be no longer than a day.

    Hi everyone,

I have developed some new ideas for both soldermasks and silkscreens. Three solutions to through hole plating have also been developed so get ready to see some interesting results between the 8th and 11th of march, if all goes well, boards produced by me will be nearly as good as those from any professional company ;)

hey, would you also produce pcb layouts from schematics? I am very poor at handling those pcb software and auto routing doesn't work for me. I don't need it right now but i need it from time to time. I am just looking for a person to whom i should contact when i am in need. if you do it, how much would you charge?

I use toner transfer method and i am quite good in it. but i don't really understand the technical terms like clearance etc.

and I'll wait curiously to see your new pcbs pictures.
