I've been developing these theories over the last 25 years or so. In fact, I predicted the "flatness" and "smoothness" of the universe before experimental microwave background radiation data proved it.
Did you actually calculate all that, or did you just follow intuitive arguments?

Mostly thought experiments. Unfortunately, theorizing about the nature of the universe involves lots of zeros and infinities. Physicists play games to "cancel" those factors so as to come up with meaningful results -- and a lot of wrong answers (at least to a matter of degree, or in circumstances where the assumptions break down).

As difficult as it is to grasp the nature of an "infinite" universe or an infinitesimal singularity, it's even more so to crunch the numbers that represent them.
