When you say adapters, I'm not sure what adapters. Also, I need the electricity from the PIR to be AC. The relay enables me to do that. I'm open to ideas, however. LMK

I don't think he read much of the thread before commenting. Using a plug-in power supply was mentioned early on. It would require mains voltage, it isn't appropriate.
