what's the name of this switch

hey all
I need to know what is the name of the switch, which is in the following picture and if possible the RS code for it.

They're commonly known as a SPST tactile switch.

Radio Shack does stock them, but you would not want to buy 12 of them at $3.99/each.

$3.12+ shipping vs $47.88 is pretty attractive.

The lead spacing isn't quite right for standard 0.1" perfboard hole spacing, but you can make them fit if you're careful.

As far as the design, you could make it more compact. Right now, you have:

Instead, you could wire it as:

...etc...
Just an idea.

Yes, it would - but why not use the multiplexed keyboard to simplify your wiring, and where you need the discrete signals use a demultiplexer IC?
