Hi everyone,
I would like to use a relay to interface between a RF receiver board, with a data out signal of 5V (TTL/CMOS) and a remote control car battery supply or around 12V/2A.
This is with the aim of remotely cutting the supply to the car.
I understand I will need a transistor to drive the relay on the 5V side.
I am have difficultly which of the many many relays on RS (For example) would do the job.
Would this one?

In this project, cheaper the better!
Any answer would really help get a man out of jam
