what places in the world has the most stairs one can climb ?
and what is its number of steps one would take to go from top to bottom?

I know the tallest building in the world has 164 floors around but this is not nessarially the tallest places/stair case one can find (i.e we are not restricting to just buildings ... could be outside structures as well )

Obviously where leaving off stairmaster machines which are infinity just plain non moving stair cases.

Also what is the guiness book of world records currently for the most stairs ever climbed and how many ?

 

Always seemed to be climbing stairs when we were in Pittsburgh, PA.

 

The longest staircase in the world can be found on the slopes of Mount Niesen in the Swiss Alps.
The 11,674 steps run alongside the Niesenbahn funicular which travels from the side of the Kander river in Mülenen (altitude 693m) to the terminus near the 2362m summit of Mount Niesen.
