What is the energy stored in the capacitor for dc operation?

I found the thevenin equivalent circuit across the capacitor (I am assuming that I did it right), but I dont know how to calculate the energy stored. My Vth = 8.57V and Rth = 2.14 ohms

all you need is to get the voltage over the 6R resistor.

To do that, do a conversion of 8v+2ohm into a 4amp//2ohm current source. Everything is elementary after that.
