i ran acros this thing i think came in a suprise box from a catalog order i gor a whil back. it says on the box for it that it is a photometer box. i have seen some similar stuff in catalogs. i beleve they setup a bunch of optical stuff on a yard stick. this has a mont it looks like for theat but not sure what it does or how to use it.
it has 3 holes 1 on each end and 1 on a side. the center has a divider with a star shape in it. then on each side thers a slanted mirror pointing otrd the whole on the side.
any ideas? thanks

 

I would guess that it measures light intensity.
