Hello Moderators and administrators,

When I look at my profile in the statistics tab, I see this line:

Referrals: 3

My question is, what does this mean ?

Greetings,

It means that three new members mentioned your name as the current member that lead them to the AAC website.

Referrals are basically a credit for referring people to AAC. YOu gain a referral through one of two ways:

1) Using your unique referral URL for the AAC forums, which is derived by appending your User Account number {NUM} to the URL http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/index.php?referrerid={NUM}

So for you bertus, your User Account number is 20420 (go to your profile and it is the number at the end of your profile URL u=20420) http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/index.php?referrerid=20420

The old FAQ had this information, but for some reason the new FAQ doesn't.

2) People credit you by name when they sign in.

Hi Dave,
Is it possible to know who were the referred ones?
Hi recca, long time no speak. I hope all is well with you. :)

I can find out via the AdminCP. If you want to know who you have referred here I can let you know via PM. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send it over.
