I have used:

xfig
xcircuit
psched

but none of them has been extremely user-friendly. I just want to find out what you guys use to see if there's a better option.

P.S: please name programs on any OS (Windows/Mac OS/Unix/Sun Solaris) because I have easy access to all of them.

Hi,

Tango PCB. Runs in DOS and uses a dongle! Better looks than any Windows-based stuff, though. Good thing I decided to stay with Win98. Fallback is IBM DOS 6.23 & Win3.1.

Orcad and Multisim Student version.

I am really happy with Multisim, but the student version limits your component count and your library is very limited.

I really want the full version, but not the $1999 price tag :S

hotwaterwizard... I like your choice best, good 'n cheap and if you have the moxey to draw your own "good-lookin'" templates I see it going really well. Me? I still use good 'ole paper and pencil, then I do it over in pen (but I've been away from electronics for quite a while now so I haven't done any for that time!) :p

Ooh, sorry haditya, I saw you're a frugle one, too! :D
