It has style, but you could add some graphics. A intro page would not be bad.

You can see my site as an example of a page that uses a front page for decorative purposes, as a facade (is is not complete, only the front page). There are many other that use a front page with a written introduction instead, and contain links to other pages on the top, just like yours.
