Hi guys I have question please

is RC circuit has a lower frequency(cut off frequency) Wc = 1 /RC rad/s
or that only applies to low pass filter lower frequency am kinda confused

also is 1/ RC in rad/s but if I want the duct off frequency in terms of herts then I would use the formula 1/2*pi*f0

I need fully explanation pleaase
thanks

You can build an RC high-pass filter (resistor to ground) or a low-pass filter (capacitor to ground). In either case the -3dB corner frequency is Wc = 1/RC or Fc = 1/2\(\pi\)RC.
