You are wanting to make chip stock? Even with a deceptively crude device like this you're going to need a high class clean room. This isn't something that can be done in a garage. It could also involves some very toxic and hard to get chemicals, such as hydrofluoric acid.

Looking at both posts I think you are just wanting to make some projects, not the semiconductors. If this is the case we're going to need a lot more information what you need them for.

 

Yes, I saw that one. We need the OP to come back and explain the exact nature of his needs. I went with the circuits post because TRIAC's are an off-the-shelf item, and not something you can just put together.

That depends whether or not you are a Member in Good Standing of "The Church of Latter-Day Triacs".
