hello everyone,
new to this forum. i am taking my dlc course in my college. at the end of semester about 80 days from now a project is due. i just wanted to get a headstart and think of a topic. i was thinking of somehow implementing voice recognition in DLC project. the course has just started and i actually dont much know yet now and i have no idea how this project is going to be made, if it can be. i consulted my senior and he advised me that this is difficult without a microcontroller. i just wanted to ask that is this implementable? my idea is just to implement some basic voice commands like left right forward and brake. kindly advise me on this in detail and give me some resources to get started on. regards.

IBM has spent billions of dollars over four decades working on speech recognition.
That should give you an idea of the complexity of the problem.
With or without a microcontroller, I would say you will have great difficulty getting it to work.
