I am working on a project about the driving circuit design of visible lighting communication using LED bulb, but I am really weak at circuit design and I cannot find any useful paper to help me with the design of such circuit. Is there any book or paper recommended?

All the transmission side requires is modulating a light source(LED) with data - you must specify the modulation technique.

I know the basic theory of modulation and I am thinking about modulating the signal I want to transmit by Manchester code, but how to realize the modulation using real circuit components? Is there any information I can refer to?
