Hi.
I've built this:
http://www.jameco.com/Jameco/PressRoom/recipe4.html
With success. When it detects vibration, the LED lights up.
Now I want to improve it, by adding a radio sender to it. This is the idea:
The vibration sensor, detects vibration, and instead of lighting the LED, I want it to send a radio signal. Approximately 100-200m. Another sensor, or radio receiver, picks up the signal, and is sending 2-5 v to an output pin. This pin is hooked up the the printerport of one of my computers, and is activating some software. The software part is no problem.
Does someone have any suggestions on how to solve this little case?
I was wondering to try this:
http://www.jameco.com/Jameco/PressRoom/rocket.html
but I'm not sure how to hook it up at the computer side.
