i was working on this project where i had to measure velocity of a car on the race track everytime it passes the start finish line.
i was planning to use lm 555 timers and a divider and an LED to display velocity in 3 digits.
but i was not sure how i will input distance? and how i could divide distance/time?
can anyone come up with ideas? i cannot use microcontrollers in my project. i just have to use simple stuff such as flip flops, counters, etc.
i would really appreciate it if anyone can help me out with this please!
