hello gents,
got a velodyne cht 15Q subwoofer that had leaky caps and a burnt out smd resistor cant find a schematic for the sub ,any help in finding the resistor value would be very much appreciated looked up datasheet for 13003 but i am honestly bad at calculating value ....terrible i am

 

A picture may help but there will be other problems beside the burnt resistor I think.

 

something is causing the resistor to burn out, get your canine sense going and see can you get a whiff of any other burnt out components its probaby the easiest way to find out what else is going on there.

 

Did replace a shorted transistor mps44a also a zener diode (assumed it is a 6.2v ) goin to the base of mps44a and a couple of burnt and resistors which had their values intact imprinted on them .The reason I guess for all this failure were the main filter caps which had literally bust open and leaked ... will try an post photos tonight my time (Australia)
