I have the Multisim 2001 student version of Electronics Workbench. All of its features work perfectly.
My problem is with some of R. H. Berube's books which are designed to work with EWB. They were all purchased new, complete with sealed software. I have four of his books. To abbreviate their titles they are:
(1). Experiments for Electric Circuits (Third edition )
(2). Experiments for Electronic Devices ( Second Edition)
(3). Experiments for Digital Electronics ( Published in 1999 )
(4). Learning Electronics Communications Through Experimentation (Published
in 2002).
With the software for all four books, when I click on a particular experiment, the computer first loads Multisim 2001 and then attempts to load the circuit for the specific experiment . Book (4) does this properly with all the experiments. None of the other three will load any of the circuits. With Book (1) after Multisim has loaded, a message appears which reads "Failed To open Document". With Books (2) and (3) after Multisim has loaded, a message appears which reads " Unable To Complete Circuit Conversion".
I have Windows 7 and get the same results using either IE9 or Google Chrome.
I would really appreciate if some of the forum members could solve this problem for me.
