Using push switches to reverse polarity of dc motor

The circuits do not do what was wanted. BOTH switches must be activated to change the polarity.
Wanted was one momentary pushbutton switch for forward and the second switch for reverse. Then each pushbutton needs a latch and control circuit.

@SouravMishra

This is called “necroposting”, raising a post from the dead. Posts are not deleted because they provide historical information.

What is recommenced is to copy the URL address of the old thread. And then start your own thread. After asking your question, mention that it’s based on an old thread and paste the address into your post.

....

Can you answer the question please...it would be a great help

Can we not just use the switches without the relay...?
This thread is about 6 years old. Now if you have a similar question to the original start your own new thread on the subject, include a detailed description of your question and a schematic, even if just hand drawn. There is no reason to resurrect an old thread. What was mentioned above.

Thank You
Ron

How do I use spst push switches(any required amount) and a 4 channel relay module to reverse the polarity of a motor....like one switch rotates it clockwise and another anticlockwise....?

This is the relay module
Additional circuitry as in...
?
Unless those are latching relays they won't work from pushbuttons without some additional logic circuitry (latch) between the pushbuttons and the relay control inputs.
It's a simple circuit, but are up to building that?

I'm upto anything but don't want to use those dpdt switches

What's a latching relay btw?

Why do you not want to use SPDT switches?
Still,....
The easiest way to just use SPST switches is to add an Arduino as a controller. It can read the switches and drive the relay board. Also, then a timeout can be added, current overload, automatic cycling, display, remote operation via radio, whatever else you want.
If you have not used an Arduino, this is a good starting project.

I believe that 1/2 of one of your relay modules & 2 SPST PB NO switches can give 2 direction motor control. If momentary PB action is required ( latching ) that can be added with 2 diodes but
but a reset would be required. I assume that apply 12 V to one of the input pins, IN 1 will activate
a relay ?
