Hi Gurus,This question might sound simple but I need clarification. Can I use a standard multimeter to test voltage of a car battery by putting test probes at both batt terminals directly? If can, how bout testing its current for a circuit with a 20W bulb connected?my instrument spec: AC 750VmaxDC 1000VmaxAC/ DC current 10A max (unfused)Thanks

You should be able to use the meter to test your battery, just make sure you set the meter to read the voltage you want (i.e. 20VDC etc,) You can also use the meter to test for current draw if it has the capability, but since yours is unfused, I wouldn't measure anything drawing more than 10 amps......
