I have an old car ECU that no one seams to be able to repair, the earth trigger for the fuel pump output is dead no idea why.
My question is this,
Can a PIC be programmed to allow an earth output to control an external relay?
Can this be done so that when power is initially added the earth output is timed to last for 3 seconds and then using an earth trigger from say a fuel injector output (switching earth pulse) the chip would see that signal and maintain a constant earth output until such time as either the power is turned off or the signal stops?
Inside the ECU I have 12vdc or 5vdc to power the chip.
Last question
Is there someone that can actually make this chip for me?
