Hello!
Working on a DAC that is slightly modified based on the PUPDAC

http://www.diyforums.org/PupDAC/PupDACoverview.php

One of my modifications is to the power orientation. The provided design gets it's power for the entire circuitry through the USB connection and for my change, I would like to provided a power supply that will actually power the USB line for an attached device (namely a cell phone). I am fine with creating two supplies, one for the DAC and another for powering out the USB if necessary.

Couldn't really find much information on google search
Ideas, thoughts?

The attached image is just a portion of the DAC for reference
Thank you!!
Scott

All you need is a 5V supply that:
1. Has good regulation of the voltage. By good, I'd say ±0.1V.
2. Has a current rating well in excess of what the DAC circuitry needs
3. Will run on your power source, which you didn't specify. Battery?
