Hi.

I am working on a project where i have to generate magnetic field on a coil to use it for induction heating. I use 1 IGBT to control the amount of current that flows in the coil, I can get a current of upto 7A on the work coil but i can not detect magnetic field on a coil.

I used a coil which was used on Snappy Chef induction stove as my work coil.

Can you post a schematic of your circuit? I get the feeling that you're passing DC through the coil. Induction heating require high frequency AC currents.
