Yes and No. Fans such as CPU fans are 12V and generally need the rated current(Listed on the fan) to run at full speed. If the fan's current rating is 1A then a 12V battery with a low capacity(Ah) say 0.2Ah(fictitious) will have the voltage is needs to run at full speed but will not run at full speed because it can not draw 1A from the battery, in fact it may not even start up.

But for most cases, unless you are using very large fans, tracecom is right.
The fact that you mentioned 600Ah and 150Ah battery capacities, lead me to believe you might want to run very large fans as the 600Ah battery is massive.
Or were these ratings arbitrary?
