I've tried to upload a PDF to this thread http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/showthread.php?t=89472 Tried four times to get it to upload. It is a good file, opens fine in my computer. But after around 3 or 4 minutes, I get a message that the file failed to upload. There is also a box at the bottom of the manage files page saying "attempting to connect to All About Circuits".

Can one of the mods help?

 

its only just over the max pdf file size ....i uploaded a page from that file but cant upload the whole file either because of the pdf file size restrictions....

 

Yup, was going to suggest that. You've exceeded the maximum file size.

 

Thanks guys. I guess it was over at ETO that I uploaded it before. Wish the manage files page had told me that, instead of calling me a failure. It hurt my feelings.

Haha, I know how you feel. I had the same problem here not too long ago.

There is a list on the bottom of the Attachment manager, listing allowed file types and their maximum sizes.

For .pdf it's 5MB.
