Cheers everyone. I was wondering if any one knows where I can find an unpackaged FET to use in a simple laser/LED driver circuit. I have packaged FETS that I have breadboarded with 2 resistors to drive an LED, but I want something unpackaged that I can use on an integrated circuit.

Also, do they make unpackaged driver circuits (with FETS/resistors etc)?

 

You can probably order bare dies cut from the wafers. You might have a hard time managing the connections and the correct epoxy to protect the dies once connected. Is that the degree of "unpackaged" you want?

What are the parameters for your application? There are surface mount FET's available in SOT outline.

 

Yes I am talking about bare dies cut from wafers, I just don't know of any companies that do this. It would be nice if someone had driver circuits in this wafer form. Are there any companies that specialize in customs unpackaged circuits?
