Hello i have a general problem in many of my components where i cant route to the center of the PAD.
In my PCB component R1 i try to route to the center and it stop right before the center as shown bellow.
on explanantion i think they made the keepouts too wide.
but i totally could not select the keepout shape of the component.
i dont know if its the keepout issue.
What could be causing this?
My project is shown in the attached link.
Thanks.

Hi there is a keepout region under R1. If the width of the net is to big it will interfere with the keepout region.

You can select the component, unlock the primitives and then select the keepout region and delete it. After that you should lock the primitives again.

Or you can remove the keepout region in your component library.

Or use a smaller width.

UPDATE:
Got one of the keep outs,it got two dimentions.
If you could please help me with few questions:

1.Why you say that the width of the trace interferes wi the keepout?
the trace width shown in red below doesnt touch the keepout?
2.why they use a purple rectangle and red rectangle for keepout?
3. i see that the redrectangle defined as keep out layer bu the red midd;e rectangle is defined as top layer (In the restricted section)
Why is that?
Thanks.

Hi,
all these problems are the reason why it is offen better to draw your own components.
There is probably a rule that does not allow to get near the keepout region.

The purple one is on the keepout layer and is a global keepout region.
The red one only restricts the top layer.

If you have trouble selecting things it is a lot easier if you select the layer you think the region is.
Also double clicking gives you a drop down menu of all the things at the position you clicked.
