I'm trying to understand how these things work

If possible I would like to build some custom models for some theater uses. I'm fairly new to circuitry, but I do understand basic analog circuits and I'm teaching myself new things all the time. Any insight would be helpful. If anyone has a schematic of an oscillator that will drive the ceramic disc that would be great. I've searched other forums and some people have said these discs vibrate in the 1 to 2 Ghz range.

$20+shipping... Doubt you can build your own for less, or better...
Don't think it's frequency is even into the MHz range, probably just above the audio range. If you drive the piezo disc too hard, it'll fracture. The ones above have the driver circuit built into the submersible unit, didn't consider taking it a part. I don't want to destroy them. Going to try aeroponics sometime. The power supply is just a step-down transformer.
