I am a student at university. Today I will learn about two ports and I can't imagine the circuit inside a port in real life. Plz explain to me

The circuit inside is unspecified. Whatever it is can be characterized by making observations on the behavior which is observable from the outside.

What is a port?
What kind of port are you talking about?
A shipping port, a hole in a wall, a pin on an integrated circuit, a communications port on the back of a computer, TV, stereo amplifier?

Since you will be learning about it today, how about studying the associated reading material to prepare yourself to better learn about it?
