When I first saw this thread mounted yesterday my immediate reaction was thinking about closing it, for it revolves around a very complicated and hurtful topic. However, I decided to ask for the opinion of the other moderators first.

They have not replied to me yet, but since I see that also a few regular members' reaction is the same as mine, I will close the thread preemptively and open it if the moderating team decides so.

 

I tend to agree. I honor the memories of the fallen, but no good can come from this thread, there is just too much emotion and loss behind it.
